Medical Acupuncture
Get to the heart of the tension
Medical acupuncture, also known as dry needling, uses the principles of acupuncture and trigger point therapy to relieve long-standing knotted muscles.
I find that these very specific techniques work brilliantly alongside massage and many of my clients are amazed by how quick and effective the results are, and that often they don't even feel the needles after they are inserted.
I use medical acupuncture as and when I feel it is appropriate, but it can have particularly good results in dealing with headaches, neck and shoulder pain and issues with piriformis/gluteals, calf tightness and achilles problems.
