Lymphatic Drainage Massage (MLD)

Reduce swelling and minimise puffiness

Your lymphatic system can often be compromised by infection, surgical procedures and pregnancy. This can result in puffy legs, ankles and feet or arms and hands. You may also find yourself feeling sluggish or prone to picking up colds and other illnesses.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage or Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) uses very light, rhythmical strokes working towards the lymph nodes to improve the circulation of lymph within the body and assist in the removal of toxins and waste products, thereby boosting your immune system and general wellbeing. It can also significantly reduce swelling and oedema following an operation, such as a knee or hip replacement or cosmetic surgery such as liposuction.

I have been trained in manual lymphatic drainage massage and taping since 2011 and have also completed Oncology massage training for people living with cancer or the effects of cancer treatment such as lymphoedema.
